My journey into candle-making began when I noticed my beloved cats (Samba and Cumbia in the picture ) getting sick. After multiple trips to the Vet, a Vet allergist (yes, there is such a thing), and thousands of dollars in subsequent bills. I learned that the main source of their illness was coming from the commercial candles I was burning at home.

As someone who regularly incorporates candles into my meditation and energy healing sessions, I wasn't willing to give up this essential element of my practice. Instead, I decided to create a solution.

After a year of careful research and exhausting testing, I developed pet-friendly, exceptionally clean-burning, non-toxic candles that allow everyone at home to breathe easy.

My background in Reiki energy work informs how I craft each candle, infusing intention and positive energy into every creation. What started as a personal solution quickly gained recognition from my friends and family, who encouraged me to share my creations with the world.

Each Montclair Candle Co. product is handcrafted with intention in my Montclair, New Jersey home, where I live with my family. When I'm not pouring candles, you can find me working with my coaching clients, performing Reiki sessions, or tending to my garden—always drawing inspiration from the peace and balance I aim to bring into each home through my candles.
